Lawyer and Mediator
Nicole Garton, B.A., LL.B., TEP, is a lawyer, mediator and parenting coordinator of family law, wills and estates matters.
In her solicitor’s practice, Nicole advises on all aspects of estate planning and administration including the preparation of wills, powers of attorney, representation agreements and trusts, as well as applications for probate and letters of administration.
Elena is a business student at Simon Fraser University’s Beedie School of Business. She is concentrating her studies in Entrepreneurship and Operations Management. Outside of school and work, Elena volunteers at a number of student-led organizations and initiatives in the community.
Maureen began her accounting career in Ontario after studying at Sheridan College in 1988/89. She worked in a large accounting firm, and took a long happy sojourn playing with her children.
Director of Knowledge Management and Paralegal
Since launching her legal career in 1987, Elizabeth has worked in diverse practice areas, including business and corporate, wills and estates, civil litigation and family law. On obtaining her Legal Assistant Diploma in Toronto, Ontario, she first worked for a small intellectual property law firm in London, Ontario, while completing her degree at the University of Western Ontario.
Estate Planning and Real Estate Paralegal
Susan Schweighardt is our wills, estates and real estate paralegal and assists with the firm’s general administration.
She started her legal career in 1986 after she obtained her legal assistant certification from BCIT in Maple Ridge, BC.
Family Law Paralegal
Stacie completed the paralegal diploma program at Capilano University, where she was awarded several scholarships and distinctions for her academic achievements. Stacie was also selected by the university to give the student address speech during convocation for the department of business and professional studies.
Marilyn graduated from the paralegal program in 1986 and has worked in almost every area of law since that time with an emphasis on litigation, family law and corporate/commercial law.
